Art Plan

Later in the term, the whole school is taking part in a visual arts exhibition. You will have to make your own piece of visual art.

We are LEARNING, CREATING AND SHARING through the ARTs

Success Criteria of the art

• No larger than A3
• Must be super high quality (your absolute personal best)
• Must be a type of visual art
• Must be aesthetically pleasing (it has to look good)
• It must challenge you (aim high)

There is an example of how to do Task 2 on the wall.

Task 1

Discuss with your learning buddy about all of the different types of visual art (there are lots!).

Write 3 of them below.

Task 2- Your plan

Please insert a picture of what your completed art will look like. (It will be either: an image from the internet, a google drawing or a rough draft).

note:I am not doing the background I am just going to paint it a color

Write a list of materials you will need.

If a material is not in the classroom, include how you will get it.

• gray paint
• light gray paint
• purple paint
• white paint
• very light pink
• pencil
• black marker
• brown paint
• white paint

Write a list of steps to take.

1. Grab an A3 piece of paper and draw with a pencil on the outlines of the guardian.
2. Next  yous the marker to outline the pencil parts.
3. Next do the body with the light gray paint and don’t do the tail yet.
4. Next do the tail with the light gray paint but leave a big space for the bottom of the tail.
5. Next get some gray paint and color in the big white tail.
6. Next as soon as the tail is done lets do the gems. Same thing from the tail you will need  the purple paint for the bottom and leave the top white.
7. Now the eyebrow is the rektangel part you color in with the brown paint.
8. Now the eye has a square that you color in with white paint and the other part is the pink paint.
